How to change a low-beam headlight bulb in a Mitsubishi Magna TJ AWD Sports:

    - Read up on forums and car handbook on how to change low-beam light-bulb.

    - Go to Repco.

    - Get new TJ Magna low beam bulb from Repco (H4).

    - Note need to remove washer bottle.

    - Find that removing 10mm washer bottle retention bots with crappy $2 spanner is a mug's game.

    - Find that you don't actually possess a 10mm socket..... So mug's game it is then.

    - Accidentally pull out washer pump motor while attempting to remove washer bottle.

    - Remove washer bottle.

    - Undo bulb hard cover.

    - Remove bulb weather seal.

    - Find out that MMAL lightbulb retention spring is as confusing to figure out as legend has it.

    - Remove bulb.

    - Find that Repco replacement blub for TJ Magna (H4) is not suitable for TJ Magna AWD (H7).....

    - Complete kicking inanimate object found close to hand.

    - Replace bulb, Replace MMAL spring, Replace weather seal, Replace hard cover.

    - Return to Repco.

    - Find proper TJ AWD Magna low-beam bulb (which is cunningly listed as for only KJ Verada) (being the H7... not a H4 bulb).

    - Decide mug's game is silly, so also purchase a proper socket set.

    - Return to car.

    - Remove hard cover, Remove weather seal, Remove MMAL spring, Remove old bulb.

    - Put in new bulb.

    - Replace MMAL spring, Replace weather seal, Replace hard cover.

    - (Remove randomly found 100w siren given opportunity of vacant washer bottle).

    - Attempt to re-insert washer pump motor.

    - Re-attempt to re-insert washer pump motor.

    - Lubricate and re-insert washer pump motor.

    - Replace washer bottle with newly acquired socket set (10mm).

    - Refill washer bottle and check for leaks.

    - Reconnect power to washer pump motor.

    - Find that windscreen washer jets don't work.

    - Complete kicking inanimate object found close to hand.

    - Disconnect washer jet hoses and bleed hoses.

    - Find windscreen washer jets work.

    - Clean up.

    - Find that you actually DID own a 10mm socket all along.

    - Bang head against wall until ineptitude goes away.
